There are some excellent, highly authoritative, semi-underground web sites that discuss the all of the security risks and threats. To respect main reason for USCHO for the moment I won't post them unless there is a clamor for them. Of the the focus should be on the contests but these related issues are impossible to ignore this time around.

Stupid rules, but rules that generate publicity. All goalies should be required to have masks with something that breaks the rules to ensure continued notice by the press.
