I never would've thought a Wings signee would leave early.

The Wings have some serious concerns about Sheahan's offensive production. They almost pulled him out of South Bend last year.

Do you mind if I ask how you know this? Also, how could playing in Grand Rapids help his offensive production?

Riley Sheahan announced on his facebook that he left the team last night. I expect him to announce he has signed with Detroit today.

With all the injuries the Wings are dealing with I wonder if they plan on giving Sheahan a look before shipping him down to Grand Rapids. Or does he still have a ways to go in that regard?

Either way never fun to see a player leave early.

Riley Sheahan announced on his facebook that he left the team last night. I expect him to announce he has signed with Detroit today.

At least Anders Lee announced he's definitely returning for another year.

Sean Lorenz apparently has signed with the Wild's AHL team and Jordan Pearce may see ice time with the Wings tomorrow.

At least some players are still getting to play.
