Iran So Far Away: 2026

From the Comments:
I'm a foreigner but even I feel some pride and awe over the brave americans who take up the important task of fucking the girlfriends of soldiers killing brown dudes and getting droned in the middle east.

Thank you for your service!

Note that sub is terrifying. It is almost 50% stories of guys leaving assault rifles and ammo lying around after they take a piss.

I assumed it was a joke.
It is and it isn’t. It’s a very common story to hear of some fresh faced 19 year old straight out of boot camp getting his bonus pay and going straight to a dealership to buy a hot new Mustang, Charger, Challenger or Camero. I’ve lived near two major military installations in my life (Elmendorf-Richardson here in Anchorage, Lewis-McChord in Tacoma) and you can pick out these sleazy dealerships that take advantage of military kids from a mile away.

My mom was a teacher in Highland Falls, next to West Point, in her 20s. All of the cadets went and bought nice sports cars with their stipends but they couldn't keep them on campus. So she let a few park them at her apartment for the week with the caveat that she got to drive them around during the week.

The cars or the cadets?
