Incoming Freshmen for Fall of 2012

Re: Incoming Freshmen for Fall of 2012

Sure, as long as they are NOT athletic scholarships* (here is a NESCAC school for example).

*And athletes do NOT get a disproportionate number of them.

Nice slash by the North York player on him in that picture. :)

Big kid.
Just a flesh wound:eek:......well the eagles need to replace 9 seniors and 5 out of their top 6 scorers, kind of what it will probably be like this time next yr for the lakers.

I'm sure eventually Eddie would like to get out of this cycle of having 14 players in one class that he's had the past seven seasons now.

I guess if he brought in a few xtra guys this yr and let them fight it out with a few of the seniors, and underclassmen, for ice time it would be interesting, otherwise 14 frshmen would be hard to do,ok well sprinkle in the transfer or 2:D...well did have a big sr class in 08-09, 12 guys going out but otherwise it has pretty even,Im sure he'll figure it out...but as Ive said b4 would like to see,IF POSSIBLE, a more diverse, both geographically and style of recruits,,he seems to have his act together so hey lets wait and see whats up his sleeve

Fred Page ??

Fred Page ??

Anyone ever attended the Fred Page Coupe tourney? Tickets tough to get at the door for the early rounds?

I'd like to see a couple of the recruits in action before they arrive at school this Fall.

The ''City'' teams in Ottawa, including the host team Kanata Stallions, do not draw well. The organizers are hoping that Pembroke wins the league because they will have a good following. Regardless, you won't have any problems at all to get tickets.

From the article..... "The Bowdoin Polar Bears play in the NESCAC, the premiere conference in NCAA Division III hockey."

Don't let the ECAC West hear you saying that :p

Bowdoin lands a big time goalie, but not in size... People in New England will remember him as he was with Phillips Exeter before

He had a pretty nice last two years at Exeter, but the NESCAC has a had penty of kids his size who have been prep stars and they haven't always been impact kids. After not playing for a year at Colgate, and a pretty average year splitting time as a 20 year-old in the BCHL, it will be interested to see what kind of impact he has.

Re: Incoming Freshmen for Fall of 2012

Considering a large portion of kids in the BCHL that go on to play Division I college hockey in the US, looks like the rich are getting richer with this pickup for SNC.
that seems to be a top league for sure..look at the commitment page almost all D1... worth a scouting trip for any coach....SNC,D1, whats the difference :D

Major Juniors > USHL > BCHL > AJHL (Alberta) > NAHL > OPJHL > EJHL > Others
