I always thought the SUNY recruited most of its players from the OPJHL but they had a large number on the list from the AJHL and EJHL. Has there been a recruitement shift away from Canada to the US?

Also I always thought that the good D3 teams wanted to keep the recruitement info under wraps until school started in the fall since none of these D3 committements are contracts like in D1. Take a school like NEC which never lists its recuits until the roster is set.

Hawk, the schools haven't released anything. This is all from junior league websites. Basically, all this means is that player X has gotten into school Y and he tells his coach that's where he's going. The coach then puts it on the website or tells the league.

I will say that most of these kids will, in fact, end up rostered (playing time is determined, of course, by a number of factors while he is on the roster). There has always been a good chunk of incoming freshmen to the SUNYAC that are from the AtJHL and the EJHL, but there is also the large contingent from the OJAHL and the other Canadian Junior A leagues. There will certainly be more from US leagues, but expect quite a few from canada as well.

Oswego has 14 kids coming out of juniors :eek: - they will be seniors next year (+1 red shirt). ;)
