Re: Il suo un grande giorno per essere un Laker 2019 - 2020
Had a good year in the NAHL. Dad (Richard Parent) played 32 games in the NHL for St. Louis, Tampa Bay and Pittsburgh where he was 7-11 with a 3.15 GAA. This is what was said about him on Neutral Zone goalie reports for NAHL.
This ’99 Pensacola, FL native is one of the best uncommitted age out players in NAHL. Parent Is a very active goaltender that likes to play the puck. His ability to come out of the net and stop hard wrap zone entries is invaluable. Parent is elite at tracking the puck into the body and the hands. He gets lots of whistles and is not afraid to slow down the play. Parent also has a great active stick, consistently putting the pucks into the corners and the protective netting. He constantly recovers to his feet which give him the best and quickest ability and opportunity to get to the next shot. The major flaw from the ’99 netkeeper that was very noticeable was the ability to recover while in the butterfly. Parent needs to work on bringing both hands through when making a butterfly push. In a game he has given up goals because of one of the two hands lagging back. This in turn throws off his weight distribution and speed/efficiency to get to the puck. Parent would make a top end D3 talent and would be a diamond in the rough for a D1 team to take a chance on.
From the Twittershere, new goalie commit Richie Parent, NAHL, not a lot of info. Good last name.
