You can't judge New Glarus just on Spotted Cow. Have you tried Fat Squirrel? Totally Naked? Uff Da? Cracked Wheat? How about any of the fruit beers like the Raspberry Tart or Belgian Red? If you have, then I will respect your opinion that you think it's over rated. Until then, you shut your mouth and quit judging on a limited experience.
Uff Da is great! :)

Monty Python Holy Grail Ale tastes like acetone.

Noticing the nuances of a beer doesn't make someone a beer snob. Thinking you're better than someone else based upon what each of you drink does.

I may think Premo (for instance) is unmitigated crap but I would never begrudge someone that likes it, just like I would expect someone not to think I'm a snob just because I typically don't drink mass produced beers. It's about the flavor, not the label or the brewery.

I know this game isn't being telivised but can you pay to watch it on the internet anywhere

The Tech web stream is $12 for a one-month package that will get you both games: https://www.nmnathletics.com//subs/Landing.dbml?db_oem_id=18800&TRACK_CROSS_DOMAIN=&gclid=

yeah, i believe that's the same deal you get with the U of M as well. Could be wrong though. I've definitely thought of getting it for a weekend series like this but never thought it was worth the $12.

Although the beer discussion was making me thirsty by 9:00AM

Since when is a "vs. tech" thread expected to talk about hockey?

Never. That's why I was wondering why there were 3 or 4 posts talking about where to watch the games live. ;)

So remind me why I'm coming up for this instead of going to the Soo to see my team...?

Because Houghton >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> The Soo? ;)

Funny thought - 30+ years ago, this might've been a pivotal series. Today, it'll probably decide whether Tech finishes in 10th now, or if we have to wait until January to have the final nail put in our coffin.
