I guess it's time for another Michigan State thread

Re: I guess it's time for another Michigan State thread

I feel it's a no-brainer on their end. Not sure how the B1G would feel.

Also, we sure are taking our sweet time releasing the full schedule.

Assuming a two game set against a single team, our final possible opponents are:

AHC: Army, Canisius, Niagara
ECAC: Colgate
HE: Merrimack
NCHC: Western

I'd like Army, Merrimack or Canisius because I don't think I've ever seen us play them. But if I was a betting man I'd say a home and home with WMU.

Legacy commit & forward Skyler Brind'Amour was the 6th-round pick of Edmonton today (#177).

Oh that's neat. Incoming D Tommy Miller is supposed to be taken at some point.

I hope we can get to a point where we start bringing in a couple draft picks every year. The NHL talent has shrunk to nearly non-existent compared to a decade ago.

The Hockey News 2017 Draft Preview listed Khodorenko as Michigan (Big Ten)

Cut Army and Merrimack.

For real though, I hope it's Colgate, Canisius or Niagara since those are team we may never see again and also stand a better chance of defeating.

Re: I guess it's time for another Michigan State thread

Looks like Colgate has dropped out of the running.

Hollis must be trying to grift a 2 for 1 out of someone and nobody is biting.

Cool - it's Canisius then! We haven't tangled with them since Christ was a corporal (or before?).

Until ASU builds a new arena they're going to be independent.

Re: I guess it's time for another Michigan State thread

Is it just me, or does it seem like every year there's 1 less home game (that counts)?

Re: I guess it's time for another Michigan State thread

Oh, something interesting I failed to catch yesterday: Our game against tNTDP is at their place in Plymouth.
