lol. Hi Netman!
Something tells me tickets will be available for this FF. In large, large quantities.
I wouldn't bet on that they sold out a year ago in 20 minutes!!!! Pittsburgh is hockey crazy town!!!!
I think you will see as Netman said plenty of tickets will be available. They will be from the people that got them through the NCAA's priority system and have decided not to attend. In Columbus, people were standing on the street corners basically given them away. If locals want to go I think they will have no problem getting tickets to this years Frozen Four.

Yeah, but sooner or later, she's going to need backup....i like the way you think![]()
at some point people are going to give up en masse with the point/priority system. but that's not been reached just yet.
All the more reason to make Tampa the permanent home for the FF. Hockey and vacation all in one. Plus, they did a great job. But this discussion belongs in a different thread....![]()

Mookie...here's an idea for a new thread!
Msg?
Yes, that's exactly what I meant.
When the average fan thinks Division 1, they think of the E$PN schools (B1G, ACC, plus a few outliers). As I posted in another thread, it's been 22 years since an FBS school has not been in the FF.You can't be a true hockey fan if you don't cheer for everyone now? I thought there was a reason most people tended to cheer for just 1 or 2 teams. Now we have to cheer for everyone who hasn't won before?
mmmmmm. that would be one expensive nut and a good chance of no golf.
Fans may not identify and decide to skip it.
Golf is no problem in metro NY in April. For the most part, you can golf year round on Long Island. Snow melts quickly. As far as a Frozen Four, doubt it will happen at MSG. The Dolan family that owns it are difficult and you need a sponsor to bring it there. Wish it would happen but probably won't in the near future.

Yes, but I can assure you that fast sell-out wasn't based on the field being comprised of this quartet of teams. This isn't ragging on any of those teams either -- the reality is that some people are not going to travel to see that group, especially from the NCAA Priority holders who buy tickets every year.
Already there are a flood of threads on the ticket board. That's a decent gauge to tell you about people wanting to dump their tickets.
either way, the tickets are sold.
either way, the tickets are sold.
What is the face value?
I'm going to be looking for tickets. I don't mind paying face value, though I expect the going price to be well under that soon now that the all of the teams that were either close or had a large fan base have been eliminated.
Upper deck on stubhub is listing at $90 for the semis at the moment.
