Looking foward to this one. I actually think that Maine can win, based on the tight defensive play in 2 of the games against Mack, and we can match BU on offense.

I mean youve also beaten us 5 straight times in the HE Semis so its not like it hasnt happened before.

I admire your enthusiasm Eric. Speaking for myself, I need a few days to decompress after that weekend.
Can't help but think that the UNH series may work against BU.

R U frigging kidding me, 5 HE semis in a row, please name em. I know the last one was 2010. The way this program has stumbled it is hard to believe we could have beaten anybody 5 times in a row for anything:rolleyes:

Not sure I agree, a lot of times those grind it out back against the wall kind of wins can catapult a team forward. They need some rest, and hopefully Cisse will be back in the lineup.

I agree - sometimes confidence can be a great ally. BU is surely the favorite in this game, but Maine has shown it can win both offensive and tight-checking games. The secondary scoring Maine has been getting lately is a good sign, and if the top line can play like they have for most of the season, I like their chances. Of course Sullivan and the defense wll have to have a great game as well.....and it would be nice if the power play got going again.....

Hopefully we get the same D, same good forecheck and the outstanding Sully we have had lately, if we do it will be a hell of a game.

More importantly, does Jack own (pay enough) Benedetto/Grav/Bunyon, as one will most definitely be calling the game. My money's on Grav since Tim had quite a weekend in Orono and Bunyon had two at Agganis this weekend.

Sully was excellent Friday night, except for rebounds but the D got there first. Saturday I thought we had the Sully of Old, which made me nervous for Sunday. Sunday we got the good Sully back, still some rebounds but the D took care of them. The goal against was a lazy play in the neutral zone that never should have happened, have to go back and look but 2 Mainuhs forgot to move their feet which allowed the MC to skate in. All and all I'd say he had a good weekend and compared to last year its night and day. BU still wins easily
