UNH pulls off the Game 1 upset. Normie can't like the looks of Tirone, the proverbial hot-as-a-pistol postseason goalie. Umile rolling 4 lines, sets up nicely if his team can jump out early again tomorrow night. A week ago, who'd a thunk it possible? UNH one (1) game away from a trip to the Garden. Northeastern and BU going to OT. UVM and Providence both got tonked (PC embarrassingly so). Interesting first night of the REAL Hockey East postseason ...

So..just sort of wondering. We always hear that you can't just "turn it on at will." What happened? Are they playing over their heads? Tirone red hot? Lowell not ready to play? What's the deal? :)
