Mark Divver on the CHNsiders podcast said someone affiliated with UMass has a close contact. Maybe all the tests have come back negative and they’re satisfied enough to play.

Something I’ve been wondering: what if a team wins the conference tournament but doesn’t play 13 games? Do they still get to go to the NCAAs?

No idea. Who knows if certain benchmarks will be waived etc. I would think tournament winners get in regardless of GP. Still waiting on what the selection process will be.

No, the BC fans were praising the football team for not testing positive....but no comment on the Men's Hoops, Swimming, Field Hockey programs for having COVID issues.

Add Women's Hoops at BC to the count.

Why wouldn't the football team be praised for going through the entire season without any issues? I don't comment on BC swimming at all, regardless of COVID. I will leave the tracking and commentary on that to you. Did you watch them disinfect the pool? And what exactly would you like me to say about men's basketball having one positive test? Do you think at all before you post?

At one point today the hockey east scoreboard showed UNH winning and now they show it as a tie. I hope this farce ends next year. With the current setup you can have six different results in a game which is completely crazy. There is no reason to have all the complexity and I would also like to see them go back to 5x5 in it. Gimmicks aren’t the way to go.

I know you're a troll with some chromosomal defects but I'd like to point out that BC football's COVID success was praised nationally by pretty much anyone that noticed. National columnists, local columnists, etc. And for good reason. Given the number of athletes on a D1 football roster and the coaching/support staff they carry with them, it was pretty incredible. I'm sure in your mind it was just luck but I think we all know otherwise.

Drew, I have no use for the shootout. And I know 3 on 3 OT is to have fewer ties but I have never really understood the big deal about that. I am perfectly content with ties. And I don't love 3 on 3 OT either. Not when it's being counted as a W/L for PWR (I know there isn't a PWR this year). Is it a weighted W/L? I think i would rather see 4 on 4 OT. 3 on 3 definitely has a gimmick element to it.

The big one just dropped with Michigan just shutting down Athletics. Can't see how the NCAA can continue to allow this to go on

Zlax, what the fuck are you talking about? Michigan is shutting down for 2 weeks. That is not "the big one dropping". Plenty of other programs have done a two week shutdown. Why do you always have to exaggerate with your propaganda? There has been absolutely nothing on the NCAA shutting down all sports.
