Hockey East 2012-13

Re: Hockey East 2012-13

Hey, as far as you guys are concerned, forget about UNH.....don't even consider us a threat this year.....just sleep thru that part of the schedule where you play us.....really, don't even give us a second thought.....

Well I mean... 7-15-1... 4-15-2...

I'm just sayin'.

Looking most forward to watching the BU vs BC game Friday night. Looking at BU last game sheet roster, Jenelle Kohanchuk not listed on rosters game sheet? Any word if she is able to play this year?

Are you referring to the game sheet for the Mcgill game? A few players sat out for it, only one of which I think was actually due to injury. Kohanchuk should be playing tmrw as far as I know.

Re: Hockey East 2012-13

I watched the game online and was impressed with the speed of both teams. BU seemed a little hungrier and went after the puck harder as well. Very good game though especially for this early in the season.

I will agree with this, though I'd describe BU as "less rusty" rather than "hungrier."

Re: Hockey East 2012-13

Although as I've stated before I expect UNH to finish in the top half this season.
If they've found a goaltender, that will help. I wasn't expecting them to be outshot by Syracuse though.

Re: Hockey East 2012-13

Syracuse skated hard and had more sustained pressure in the UNH end and thus generated more chances/shots. I certainly would give the edge in play and territorial advantages to Syracuse yet UNH came out with the 'W' in the end and I guess that's what counts. UNH didn't cycle the puck well and seemed out of sinc on offense but I expect that to improve. I am sure it is quite an adjustment going from the big ice at the Whitt to the small digs at SU.

Re: Hockey East 2012-13

The fact that 6 of the 8 UNH goals this weekend were scored by Frosh should in no way alter the fact that no should consider UNH a threat this year! Nor that Vilma V. looked sharp....got that TonyTT20
