Hockey Day Minnesota : North Dakota @ Minnesota 1/19/12

I''m more embarrassed by all the goon comments on USCHO like this one. If you watch alot of hockey for the most part the type of things that are being referred to being a goon happen week in week out in hockey and by all teams. If folks would take their blinders off they would realize there isn't any team that wears halo's and by the standard that is used to call the other teams player a goon could be applied to any team during any game. That is all

Agreed. Very well said.

You did see Rau's two-hander to MacWilliam's face right?
I just rewound the DVR. What 2 hander? If you're talking about the shove to his chest than yeah, it was a 2 hander but it was not to his face. They both deserved 2 minutes but don't say Rau started it. It's pretty universal when you get checked into the boards you push the guy off you. Mac could have let it go, Rau could have let it go. They both didn't and they're both in the box. 4 minutes was too severe but they both earned their way in there. Saying Rau started it is biased.

If you want a real goon BSM's Chumley - is truly a worthless no talent hack
- what a worthless sack of shat he is... And would fit nicely in with Hakstol

He did. I'm proud he didn't finish it, though. Some players would retaliate after that slap.

The slap was lame. I hope his teammates razz him quite a bit for that.

That was definitely a pretty weak slap. That was an Alex Burrows type slap.

I thought we were watching Chris Kunitz again. But he didn't run away right after he did it, so no.
