Guessing that was a "we need to even the calls, or the game will get out of hand" move... no way from that tussle that NoDak shouldn't have had an extra 2

It goes without saying at this point, but wow, UND are a bunch of ****ing goons. Its embarrassing.

Very even period - pretty sure the refs are going to lose control of this game soon though

I'm not sure either player did enough to get a double minor but oh well...maybe the dueling idiots (Hunt and Shep) are trying to keep control of the game.

Well, that was a much better played first by both sides. Pretty even, but Minnesota was really starting to come on after the North Dakota goal. North Dakota still making some bonehead plays, but overall the passing and effort are a significant improvement. UND doesn't have much of an answer for Minnesota's depth right now. We need our 3rd and 4th lines (looking at you Rocco) to step up and play to their ability level.

Keeping control of the game would mean calling penalties as they are written and not pulling shyt out of their as s

He's too short to hit the face. Deserved penalties, IMO, but Rau didn't hit the face.

I''m more embarrassed by all the goon comments on USCHO like this one. If you watch alot of hockey for the most part the type of things that are being referred to being a goon happen week in week out in hockey and by all teams. If folks would take their blinders off they would realize there isn't any team that wears halo's and by the standard that is used to call the other teams player a goon could be applied to any team during any game. That is all
