ICYMI, Jim Brady's death has been ruled a homicide.

What is the point of that? Personally, I'd have no problem feeding Hinckley into the wood chipper from Fargo, but he was found "innocent" by reason of insanity for shooting Reagan. And it seems unlikely we could get a different outcome in the death of Mr. Brady.

Well, I am guessing he cause of death is related to the injuries sustained from the gunshot. I know he was an advocate for gun safety (is that a more PC thing than saying gun control?) so I wonder if part of this is he had expressed wish for the fact the gunshot did contribute to his eventual death. Looks like he lead a pretty miserable existence.

Technically that ruling is correct, it's just tougher to fathom due to the time passed since said wound.
