Re: Headline News Thread

Huh. Wonder what they could be implying?

Re: Headline News Thread

Stolen plane in Seattle. Ground stop has been lifted, so whoever this loon is, he must not be a serious threat.

This guy might have NO piloting experience, and I think he's likely high as a kite:

Re: Headline News Thread

Crash reports now. Also many, many reports it was a Horizon Air Dash-8 Q400 (Alaska Air regional subsidiary).

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Some dude stole a plane from <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Seatac?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#Seatac</a> (Allegedly), did a loop-the-loop, ALMOST crashed into <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/ChambersBay?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#ChambersBay</a>, then crossed in front of our party, chased by fighter jets and subsequently crashed. Re: Headline News Thread

What drugs was he on? If you're suicidal, you wouldn't take that roundabout way....he was on something, or not right in the head, or both.

Re: Headline News Thread

Definitely the D8-Q400 based on the Tweet above.

OK, this was funny:

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">You KNOW the hijacker is white of he's stolen a plane and threatening to do a barrel roll. <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/SeaTac?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#SeaTac</a></p>— Honey Butter (@VerucaSaltSh8kr) <a href="https://twitter.com/VerucaSaltSh8kr/status/1028133419417448448?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">August 11, 2018</a></blockquote>

Looks like the F15s following it may have taken it down?

Whoever piloted this plane, I'm thinking has to have been an AS employee. Clearly trained enough to get through planning, taxi, and takeoff without suspicion (?????), until he was in the air. Still absolutely bizarre he got that far.
