Head Count for Lake Placid

Re: Head Count for Lake Placid

Alcohol-free weekend at all Lake Placid area pubs because of the Can-Am Youth Tournament going on.

Yeah, because hockey parents are well known for their alcohol-free trips....

BTW, I will not be in Lake Placid after all, which is too bad because the last trip there was some of the best hockey I have ever seen. However, the CPA has to go to work this weekend...

Depends on just how goofy he gets........ow and the results of the FF games:D

Laugh if you may, my wife tried to punch out "Chip" at Chef Mickey"s because he wouldn't leave her alone. It was all in fun though! The picture was worth a thousand words!

I'll be there in Spirit, watching from Colorado on the big screen, Saved my last 2 Yuengling's (don't sell em out here) for the (hopefully) two Oswego games this weekend.

Bummer about the Yuengling. I picked up a couple of cases in PA over X-mas break and ran last week. Wish I could find a store in Central Vermont that carried Yuengling.

What's wrong with Fat Tire?

Re: Head Count for Lake Placid

Oswego Alumni Association announced a postgame party at WiseGuys Friday night after the game.

It's kinda like the Sam Adams of micros out here now, overrated on the national scene, and not considered "good" beer by the locals. NB does make a lot of great small-batch brews though, and they change often! We have around 120 breweries in CO now, and new ones are added all the time...therefore many choices. No Yuengling or Magic Hat though, darn it!

I will not be making it to LP this year, which may be for the best as NU lost in 2008 when I traveled. I'll be watching on the plasma via my boxee. Good excuse to get out of work early Friday....woot! Beers of choice: Renegade Descendent, Odell's Levity/90 Shilling/5 Barrel, or Strange Cherry Kriek.

Go Wick!

Fat Tire is not that bad...but those of you in the Southeast sometime should try the Sweet Water brewery. My personal favorite is Sweet Water 420.
