HEA ooc 2015-16 (let us not suck like last year - yes that is you umo)

Re: HEA ooc 2015-16 (let us not suck like last year - yes that is you umo)

Maine's strategy of tie everyone is impressive. If sustained they'll even get a home playoff series.

Tie #3 in their barn sure feels like a win. Union has decimated the league in the past.

"With the tie, Union is now 13-1-1 in their last 15 games against Hockey East opponents"

So a home tie with union is the same as a win... Suuuuure

Now 14-1-1...

I see what the plan is. Just rack up a bunch of wins against the worst NCHC team to make HE v NCHC record look good! Very smart. ;)

19-12-4

Nice job umo

The only team that still hasn't registered a win...if they fail to beat UMass (who is actually undefeated ) it very well maybe December before the break into the win column.

Yikes, no wonder Mookie began a similar thread last year. But, I recall that HEA improved in their OOC games over the course of last season. Will need to begin compiling OOC data for the other conferences again, I guess.

We (ECAC) are starting off well against Big Brother, HE
6-4-1 - Overall thus far

Impossible to tell how things will work out. Last year the ECAC non-Ivy got off to a great start as well and then completely fell apart, crashed and burned in December. Two years ago we finished the year exactly .500 against HE. I think that is the best we can hope for this year.

We are 14-7-2 (.652) overall but a big piece of that was AHA and we don't have many AHA teams left on NC schedules.

This weekend will tell us (ECAC) a lot.
2 against AHA
2 against Big 10
1 against HE
6 against NCHA (Miami, St. Cloud, Western Michigan)

USCHO already has a page for this, and you can go all the way back to 1999-2000 to see the yearly numbers.

They agree with your numbers for everyone except the WCHA, whom they have at 10-13-5.

Guessing the WCHA has had 2 conference series already.

College Hockey News also has WCHA at 10-13-5 (.446)
