Not shocking Lowell took the lead, PC can't get the puck out of their D zone, pretty goal by Wilson

He originally committed to NU because Rawlings was expected to leave after last season. When Rawlings announced he was returning, Gillies asked out of his commitment and committed to PC.

gscott three years ago I went to see Jon Gillies at a tryout for the Indiana Ice, being a UNH fan who watched his dad play I ended up talking to Bruce at that time. In retrospect it was funny because Bruce was pretty sure Jon was going to end up on the U18 USA hockey team. Knowing the Indiana Ice goalie coach ( my son is a goalie in the Indianapolis area) I asked Jamie Morris what he thought of Jon and he was practically drooling, he also thought it would be hard to get him to play for the Ice but lo and behold that is what happened. Bruce was nice, talked about 10-15 min with me about UNH hockey and goaltending. Speaking of football the best football player that played UNH hockey was Rod Langway, he was good enough to play in the NFL and was an excellent HS quarterback. Randolph Mass HS I seem to remember. Of course he was a pretty decent hockey player....

Amazing game by both teams. kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time.

apparently the BU announcer who has historically done it is in poor health... they just presented him with an award... he was on oxygen...

Tom Caron's mother may love him dearly, but that guy has a voice made for newspapers. I wish the NBC Sports feed weren't blacked out here. #NESNFail.

Yep. Me and my cowbell, Lil and his ratchet and the other 3 spare cowbells distributed as well. w000000t!! That was exciting. Didn't have the energy to stay for the next game. Home with feet up, watching the wheels come off BC's bus

Caron is simply awful. His performance over the last few weekends was almost in line with the Steve Levy Frozen Four of the '90s. His voice is grating, and his lack of knowledge and mistakes are getting worse by the year. Spent the whole last game of the regular season going on about UNH getting home ice for the HE QF's when they didn't have it -- kept calling the Rooneys brothers for PC tonight when they're really cousins -- and on and on. It's amazing how poor NESN's general coverage has become. They keep adding "talent" to their worthless intermission/pre-game shows but the content keeps getting worse and Caron is the like the poster boy for it! (And Craig Janney is horrible also. I almost miss Bob Norton...actually, I do, come to think of it. Janney's babble is often incoherent, but at least Norton was amusing most of the time when he was being incoherent!).

Just saw the highlights from the game, he said Accari was Chris Rooney MULTIPLE times on the replay of the goal.
