I'm scared to death of this matchup. There's no doubt in my mind that Gillies is the kind of goalie that can steal one, no matter how good the opponent is. The fact that PC will likely be fighting for their playoff lives only compounds the issue

Could not disagree more. UNH looked horrible yesterday and mediocre in what I saw of the game Saturday. They were discombobulated frequently, DeSmith was good but not great, and they couldn't connect on a neutral zone pass if their lives depended on it. Plus, it's UNH in March.

If PC had beaten UNH in the early 2000's, this board would have exploded. Mostly because every BC fan would be reveling in the loss...

To be fair, they caught every love tap. The two most egregious calls when Goumas leveled one of our players into the goalposts (penalty) and earlier when Goumas was highsticked in the head (no penalty). Fun fun fun!

Don't know how the two official student buses are doing (80 people) but I saw on the athletic department Facebook page that a group of students are also organizing their own bus as well if enough reserve. Unfortunately the official buses appear to be leaving after the early game but some may stay behind to take in the late game and find alternative transportation back to campus.

Was there around 11 and there wasnt a line yet for tickets. When they started at 11:30 about 10 of us were there, not sure if they are all gone yet.
For the uml athletics bus, I would guess there will be alot of students coming into boston. Don't forget there's the commuter rail in the main lobby. Last train at 12:10


Also Friday just happens to be my birthday so feel free to say hi at the Harp.

Updated from an earlier post I deleted...

Got my Friday ticket this morning at 10:00. Phone was ringing off the hook inside box office and people were coming in as I was leaving too. According to the UML tournament page, the 100 free tickets are gone and they've gone through the supply of $10 ones...additional tickets are being ordered from the Garden. The site also notes that there are now 3 student buses, not 2, being planned and that space on the third bus is limited. I saw on the athletic department Facebook page that a group of students are also organizing their own bus as well if enough reserve. I'm thinking there will be a lot of students there Friday.

I know some people are worried about attendance for the early game but based upon what I've seen and heard today with tickets being sold and other signs, I think there will be a lot of UML fans there for the game. Many are also heading to the Harp for 2:30. Everyone seems really pumped up for Friday.

UML seems to be updating the site regularly so good to check in from time to time as they're adding more information as the week goes on...
