Harvard at Boston University 1/9/13

Re: Harvard at Boston University 1/9/13

More great coverage by NBC. Truly enjoy watching their games, doesn't matter whose on. Great effort by Harvard all the way to the end. Seemed like BU figured it was over after going up 5-2.

Re: Harvard at Boston University 1/9/13

Wow. BU basically imploded, and in their own building too. You just don't see that happening to a highly ranked team very often.

Re: Harvard at Boston University 1/9/13

Nice comeback by Harvard, the tying goal was very nice, you usually don't see plays like that work.

Re: Harvard at Boston University 1/9/13

That was a fun game to watch. Harvard look really bad in the first as they took, what seemed like, zero shots. They hung around while BU had some really terrible defensive lapses to allow Harvard to come back and win.

Re: Harvard at Boston University 1/9/13

Gag job and another typical Parker inspired effort. Stop playing at home against a local rival because they are so good they cant blow a 3 goal lead. Look for more of the same in the 2nd half here. Most just blew off the DU game as a fluke, to me it showed the true talent/colors of this team. One of the worst losses at home in many years for alot of reasons.

Re: Harvard at Boston University 1/9/13

Did not enjoy that. It was like a bad video game. Both teams played poorly but the team that took better care of the puck and skated for 64 minutes won. Hats off to Harvard, they're a much better coached team.

Re: Harvard at Boston University 1/9/13

One of the best games I have seen all year.

exciting perhaps, but not well played. i rarely see worse 'hockey' played in my son's squirt b games. sloppy, sloppy, sloppy. couple goals were nice shots by harvard, but they beat a goalie who dropped into the butterfly and dared them to find a hole (WHOOPS!! :D). the rest were pokes and slaps while peeps stood around or flip shots that beat goalies who may as well have been looking for miss AL in the stands.

I was there. Exactly what happened. BU went nite nite at 5-2 and thought they could throw it in neutral. Harvard was truly two different teams tonight. You could feel the huge momentum change early in the 3rd. BU is still on holiday break. There were virtually no students at Agganis. The arena was 2/3 full.

Watched it on TV tonight with my son. Quite an impressive comeback by Harvard. By the way my son is a Miami alum, can you guess who he was rooting for? lol!

He was rooting for a multi-goal 3rd period come back with an OT win?;)

Re: Harvard at Boston University 1/9/13

Whatever the result and whether each team played to expectations, I enjoyed watching that game last night! Two very good skating and skilled teams. The third period in itself was worth the watch. Did not care who won the OT. Nice comeback by Harvard.

Thanks to NBCSN for covering the game.
