Today is Presidents Day, honoring the birth of two US Presidents. While I suppose they each had some noteworthy achievements, neither made a single post on USCHO. Fight for independence, keep a divided nation together, but if you can't explain the rep formula or go on million-mile bike rides, are you really all that? So Happy Presidents Day, and a belated happy birthday, to Ralph Baer.

See, it's that attitude that makes people hate math!:mad: The teacher just gets done saying, "there are no stupid questions" or, "everyone makes mistakes, that's how we learn", then little lewis raises her hand, and that mean little Baer kid starts to snicker. Next thing you know, she's crying herself to sleep and opting to take consumer math instead of pre calc.:(

But hey, happy belated birthday anyway.:)

I'm not surprised. RPI is like North Dakota they have a long history of being hostile and abusive. Just look at the treatment I got from Puckman when trying to get my picture taken with him. :mad:

No I dropped math altogether when I found out I didn't need it.

Last year, we filled up the RFAlph B'day thread pretty fast. This year, it has been a grind. We probably need an argument on some topic to pick up the post pace. So, to put some chum in the water ...

I'm always amazed by what a good job referees in hockey, football, and basketball do on a regular basis, as well as baseball umpires.

It's great how North Dakota honors the Sioux tribes by using them as their mascot.

Can Giada actually cook?

Bacon is bad.

"The English Patient" is a very thrilling movie.

My dream in life is to someday watch Vanilla Ice perform live.
