Well, 24-6-3 of the NCHA's record came against the MIAC this year. Sorry, had to. :)

Plus I know who you are so I don't feel bad about giving you a hard time. Great meeting you in Placid last year...any chance you'll be making the trip this time around?

. The results will be in about 12 hours from now. I"am looking foward to a great pre- game meal with
other SNC supporters. The game is going to be fast paced and high energy.

Webb... not fair but I knew it was coming. GAC and Hamline were 4 - 2 - 2 vs the NCHA and Swartout had the night off for the only loss from GAC.

Lake Placid, definitely want to be there, trying to juggle business as we speak. I wouldn't miss seeing the Gusties and their great families back east... once again. I regret not partaking in the late night festivities last year... but count me in this year.


It was great to have finally met you as well (I thought you'd be taller).

Webbs statement is as fair or unfair as your last comparison. I did not realize that Hamline was playing tonight. By the way, Gusties against the NCHA is:

Nah... can't agree.

Traditionally the MIAC has been considered weaker than the NCHA and please don't confuse this with the NCHA being weaker within their conference this year. What is unfair is including the records of the lower MIAC teams against the NCHA. That's why I included Hamline in my comparison. Again, had Swarty not had the night off the Gusties would have been 3 - 0 vs the NCHA.

You guys are reaching. I made some strong points for Adrian and asked who have the Green Knights beaten and all I hear are crickets.

I understand the comfort zone, being ranked so high most of the season, number one seed in the West and a National Championship not too long ago but it's time to start worrying, if you haven't started already.:confused:

My first pick was Gusties 4 - 3 in OT but 4 - 2 with an ENG will do it.

Must take the crowd out early... 2 - 0 end of first, 3 - 1 end of the second.

Meh, teams play differently when different goalies are in net.

I've seen it happen at several different schools. Players will be more tentative, hang back defensively instead of trying to generate rushes, etc etc.

For all I know they would have lost 5-3 with swartout in net, or they could have won 4-2. We'll never know, and it doesn't matter much this time of year.

3 1/2 hours till we find out what does matter though ;)

edit: fix your quotes, you lazy bastiges! :p

Despite the pronouncement of another, I, for one, am worried. It's the playoffs with a trip to Lake Placid on the line. SNC better bring it tonight.

This is not accurate... there is a video webcast... now as for the technical issues, let's hope they are all sorted out.

Thanks for the link. I know the other night they only had audio and it was pretty hard to understand. Glad they changed it up for tonight's game.

Let me be the first to say congratulations to the Green Knights and all their fans. A great game as everyone expected. The Knights shut down a potent offense... hat's off to the coaching staff.

Congratulations also to the Gusties on another great season. Best of luck to the eleven seniors as they move on and thanks for some of the greatest hockey memories I have.

I live in the East but my hockey heart will always be with the West.

Again, congratulations to St. Norbert.
