Eh, it’s pretty clear the GOP ********** sucks everywhere, and since this bill will likely not even get out of the MN House, much less become law, thanks to a DFL Gov., this isn’t much of an indictment of MN...that said, the county I’m from voted almost 70% for Trump in 2016, more than the KY county I live in now, so the rural parts of MN are probably gobbling this s*** up.

Exactly. Posturing. When it gets nowhere they'll get to say "Look! The dems want you to get hurt or worse!"

Well it's only a proposal, but yes even Minnesota has a few knuckle-draggers. Usually with sloped-foreheads and transplanted from North Dakota and Wisconsin.

Also, this seems like retaliation to the state fair announcing they're putting up metal detectors at the entrances.

I understand that, but it's the kind of f-ckwittery you expect from Kansas or South Carolina. (In Alabama it passes.)

Most rural areas might as well be Alabama now. In 2012 Obama won all but one county in Maine. Now most of the rural counties are hardcore Tumptards (he won’t win the state but he’ll have a shot of peeling off one electoral vote again — from a more rural district that had gone for Obama not by a landslide but comfortably)
