Grinding Away..Things that grind your gears, part three

Re: Grinding Away..Things that grind your gears, part three

ok,... this is what grinds me. The umps at yankee home games. I'm no red sox fan, but if you are them you should be writing your congressman on the job done to you this week. And it gets done to everyone who shows up, not just you. If it's not right down the middle, it's a ball. No wonder they win so many games.

I drive a 4 year old Chevy Malibu. About as economical as you can get. The great state of Minnesota sets my renewal at $190.

What exactly are you complaining about? :p

I drive a Saturn, mine is 90.

Getting a $600 book credit and still not being able to buy all my books for class. And the books I do have... ****. When I first went to college, I just needed 3-4 books, total. Now, I have that many per class.

Wrangler: $45. :D
I was down to that, too.
Then, I moved...

Last year's tabs - $124. Take out the personalized plate fee, and I think it's $99. For a '99 Grand Cherokee.

Wonder what it'll be in Ohoho...

Re: Grinding Away..Things that grind your gears, part three

My new Jeep was $200 to register, but it lasts for 2 years.

Was included in the price, dealer took care of all things DMV and called me when he had the plates and tabs.

Custom plates are only $30.

In an unrelated note, apparently the Jeep Wrangler has a gay stereotype associated with it. I have no clue why.

Getting rear-ended by a truck and getting pushed into the hitch on the truck in front of me. The car I just paid $350 in repairs on is now toast. Yay.

:(

But maybe you get to drive your pop's Mustang again?

Re: Grinding Away..Things that grind your gears, part three

Is that for the crappy old jeep or the expensive pick-up that stays parked all the time? :p
That is for the truck. :p
The truck that I will probably be selling soon, since I don't feel like paying so much for it anymore.

State of Hockey: does this mean that you'll need someone to pick you up tomorrow night for the housewarming kegger?

Re: Grinding Away..Things that grind your gears, part three

Yeah, the real downer from this whole situation is that my car is the '05 Mustang GT for now. :)

I forgot all about the housewarming kegger! I honestly wish I wouldn't have been reminded. I'm going to be in Mankato and I can't get out of it. That town continues to destroy my life, evidently.

Oh, and here is a pic of the worst part of the damage, but not all of it:

Crumple zones obviously did their job.

The Oakland Raiders. Their suckitude ensures that I will not get one football game on TV 8 times a season.

edit: Nevermind, I misread the blackout rules. I do stand by my assertion that the Raiders suck.:D

Things that grind my gears:

Finding out my Alma Mater's Athletic Director could be a long lost relative of Dollar Bill Wirtz, especially with how he treats the sports teams.

Sadly there isn't a Rocky Wirtz waiting to take over. :(

Re: Grinding Away..Things that grind your gears, part three

My dad calls just a few minutes ago, and I tell him that, even though I'm trying, I can't focus and get my homework done. He responds "what, is the computer too slow?" No! I could be working with a NASA computer and it wouldn't matter. If I can't focus on what I need to do, then there's no point..
