DC District Judge has had about enough. Not only does he destroy every merit of the suit but he is so thoroughly unsatisfied with it he muses that he doesn't think they meant it seriously. He doesn't just dismiss it...he unzips his fly and pizzes on it in full view of everyone.

But this is the gem:

As a result, at the conclusion of this litigation, the Court will determine whether to issue an order to show cause why this matter should not be referred to its Committee on Grievances for potential discipline of Plaintiffs’ counsel.

Can't take words, but have no problem dealing out violence when they are angry. Let alone, easily laying out worse words against their opposition.

The right would have pounded down the door- like they did in Boise. The left stands in the middle of the street and says words.

Yet we somehow have people tell us that it's exactly the same thing.

edit- lets remind ourselves that last year's protest in DC post election was very peaceful. Very. Lets see what happens tomorrow and in a few weeks. Will people still be convinced that it's the same reaction?
 
Investigations take time!!!! Trump should be president until we can be completely certain there was no fraud!

I dont know where Grassley got his info...Pence has never indicated once he wouldn't be there. I think the moron just made it up. Pence would never not be there. He will make some self righteous statement, praise Trump and support the challenge and then have the same constipated look on his face he always does as the results come in.
 
So am i right in that the senate has no ability to delay this count? It is spelled out what they are supposed to do. So the stage show by the GOP is just that, for show.

Delay as in reschedule, no, they have no ability. It's just a show for the rubes and President Urine Stain on the Constitution.

Delay as in waste 2 hours a pop for each state challenged, yes, they can do that.

They can delay it 2 hours per state but that is it. Beyond that no. There is no commissions, no audits, no nothing. The Electoral Count Act and the Twentieth Amendment are quite clear on how all this works. (I posted it a few days ago if you want to go look for it) To get what they want they needed Gohmert to win his lawsuit, which he failed at in epic fashion.

Even if they did somehow find a loophole, they can't delay the Inaugural. And even if they did somehow do that...Trump still is out at noon on the 20th and Nancy Pelosi is President until it is resolved. On 1/20 no matter what a Dem is President.

The dumbest part of this is they already lost anyways. Enough GOP Senators have already pledged not to support it. The House is Dem controlled so they wont support it. This isnt even a long shot it is mathematically impossible to win. The "debates" wont be about improving Elections...it will be yelling conspiracy theories and insulting all Dems. It will make the hearing a couple of weeks ago look normal. Lots o lies about ANTIFA, Dominion, the dead voting and how mail in ballots aren't secure. It is going to be a lot of losers planting their flag in Trumper land hoping for money and votes in 2-4 years.

It will however be wonderful footage for the future.

Imagine if we had C-SPAN tapes of the Nullification Crisis or Secession. This will be Orval Faubus and George Wallace on steroids. Sedition, on tape, for future historians (and Attorneys General).

Commit fraud? Wave away the investigations as quick as possible.
Not get what they want? Gin up fraudulent investigations for as long as it takes.
