I dont know what is dumber...that he allowed himself (and his attorneys) to be taped doing this or that he thinks soliciting election fraud in GA is worth it. Even if he somehow convinced Raffensberger (or his brother!) to break the law and just rig it for him he still loses overall. Unless he can get other states do the same thing he is still out in 17 days.

This is like committing bank robbery for $100.

Both Washington DC and Georgia are one party consent states. So not sure who involved on the phone call leaked it.

Pretend they aren’t one party consent, if you believe a crime is about to be committed, can you record? I’m guessing no, but I have no basis.

Knowing a felony would be openly discussed, would I personally ignore the party consent law? Yes.

Would I risk the jail time releasing it if it was a two party consent state? Ummm...
 
If they had scanned in thousands of ballots for Biden multiple times, wouldn't the presidential vote total be thousands of votes higher than any of the down ballot totals combined?

I just listened to the whole thing. Pretty crazy to hear that. Hopefully people go to jail over it. Hard to believe so many politicians are willing to get on board with this.

Lead bullets. Check, just might need.

Quit effing around, sedition charge if you dare show up on the 6th.

The scary bit is that most of them genuinely believe it. Trump just wants to make the country better and the deep state wants to stop him.

Of course it was leaked from the White House. This is more ammunition to get the MAGAts riled up. trump drops mindless and false tidbits about machines having parts replaced and bingo, there's a narrative. 20,000 people who no longer live in GA voted there, bingo there's another narrative. None of this is designed to get a single state to overturn their election, although if enough buckled and did trump would surely take it and run. This is for the (relatively) long game. That game now is to turn half of the country against our elections. I'd say they're well on their way.
 
He may have leaked it, but for what?

republicans already believe the lies and that the Georgia SOS and every other SOS has wronged them. They have no functioning brain cells. This tape isn’t bringing anyone new to his side and he already has the support of the mouth breathers. He may hurt turnout on Tuesday for his side
