Grand Unified Election Thread 2: What is the difference between Biden and Dump?

Duh

More than 100 former GOP senior national security officials who served under former Presidents Reagan, George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush, as well as President Trump, are urging party leadership to demand the president cease his “anti-democratic assault on the integrity of the presidential election” and concede.

“It has been clear for over two weeks that Joe Biden won the 2020 Presidential election, garnering 306 electoral votes, far more than the 270 electoral votes required to be elected,” reads a letter signed by the group of former officials, known as Former Republican National Security Officials, that was released on Monday.

“While the President is legally entitled to request recounts and file good-faith legal challenges, he has presented no evidence of widespread fraud or any other significant irregularities. Nearly every case filed by the President’s team across multiple states has been summarily dismissed,” the letter continued.

The letter's signatories include former Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Ridge, the first leader of the Department of Homeland Security under President George W. Bush; former Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel, who served under President Obama and was previously a GOP senator from Nebraska; and former Director of National Intelligence John Negroponte, who held that position in the younger Bush's administration.

Yeah, that whole oversight thing? Epic failure. It's almost like getting the House didn't matter. I love love Katie Porter but with the Trump administration none of it has mattered.

Inherent contempt now. If they don't invoke it now, it's dead. This is a fucking crisis.

When Senator Capito tells you you're fucking this up, perhaps it's time for a look in the mirror...

"GOP Sen. Shelley Moore Capito joins the growing number of Republicans: “While some irregularities and fraud have been found and should be punished, there is no indication that these are widespread enough to call into question the outcome of the election.”

Obviously any steps he can get passed will help, but I don't see a plan to forgive sales tax producing a lot of "atta boys" from bar or restaurant owners he has closed down.

He has to run a balanced budget. The Feds are what have failed those business owners. Most of them voted for the current administration I bet.

Uh huh...and if he did nothing they would have said the same thing. Walz is doing the right thing and if they dont like they can go on unemployment and STFU. The world doesnt revolve around a bunch of whiny bar owners who did a mediocre to fair job policing the mask mandate anyways. If half the state wasn't stupid and selfish we wouldnt be here.

If their problem is with him and not that the Federal Government screwed them over they deserve to be shut down because they are too stupid to be in business anyways.

And no I feel no sympathy and I dont really care if they are upset. I have friends out of work over this and none of them blame Walz for it...they blame their idiot owners, the GOP and the morons who refuse to wear masks because THAT is who the blame falls on.

All I'm saying is that if you are closed, on the Governor's order, and thus not making any sales, I don't see a sales tax forgiveness as much relief. I give him kudos for at least thinking about the problem, but if he is really trying to help them, that isn't going to do it.

Edit: In fact, the business doesn't really even pay the sales tax, the customer does. The business simply remits it. Thus, it probably does nothing for the business owner, but saves the customer 6%.
