I think there is more truth to this than you may know. Everything seems radical before you do it. If people wont stop being frightened by SOCIALISM!1!!1! then dont bring it up. Just give them everything that SOCIALISM!!1!!! provides and then watch what happens when the GOP tries to destroy it. ObamaCare is the new road map.

OK, Tapper is closing strong. He may be a plutocratic running dog, but he can at least speak the truth about how compromised and cowardly the GOP is.

Most people dont care about explanations...nuance and learning is beneath the average American.

Monetarily, healthcare covered by a government vs. one that's covered by a company do exactly the same thing- just with different goals with the money. Government wants to cover everyone whereas companies want to make as much money as possible.

But they are exactly the same thing.

I'm sure R's are too stupid to be able to tell the difference, though. They are ok with companies making money on their behalf, restricting who they can see, when they can see them, and what procedures they are allowed to have.

I am taking it as read that "Socialism" in the United States is Center-Right everywhere else in the civilized world.

I was juuust thinking how nice it is to basically make Ohio and Florida as irrelevant as Arkansas or Oregon.
