Thanks. Although I was at the game and knew he was around the net a lot, I only now realized that Fasching was in front of the net for 3 of the Gopher goals. He drew a lot of attention from the 'Horns and clearly can help take away the goalie's eyes. Nice to have a big body who is willing and able to hold a spot in the slot like that.

Say what you will about that island, but the lion with the crown and the wings was pretty cool. In fact, that's our motto for this year: Minnesota State - We're That Lion With the Crown and the Wing-things

Outside of Bjugstad, Fasching was probably the best player I've played with. Nobody saw the ice like Rau, though.
