It's much more entertaining than watching a Merrimack that doesn't even try (and obviously still fails). UVM has the right to try to compete. UVM fans need to know their role and stay in the middle with UML and Northeastern and UMass.

Look, as much as we've been *****-ing about UVM, don't put any of us in the same league as UMass. That's just mean and hurtful, very hurtful.

I suppose it's hard to leave REA arena and end up in southern CA or TX or somewhere else. Unless you have access to some sort of time/space continuum.

I'm a bit puzzled why we have to leave REA to be in North Dakota. Did REA become the 51st state and/or a sovereign nation at some point? If so, there was very little publicity for such an event. Will REA get it's own senators and/or UN delegates?

See, Brian, you're still a bit confused. Forget CA and TX. When you leave REA and, you look around, it's just friggin' North Dakota. Don't even think of SOUTH Dakota. You very quickly remember you better find a bar because this sucks!

1) You're wrong. You can see Minnesota too. You should hit the Geography books harder.
2) Bars are a good time. If you can't have a good time at a bar in North Dakota you should probably get new friends...

Where's MAV when you need him to knock these people down a peg or 6?:D

I too am outraged that "the U" (read Gopher Hockey) is lumped in with all the commoners!

Having grown up in Roseau (primarily UND fans) and living in "the cities" (100% Gopher fans). I find it ironical that

a) Metro fans think they alone are "the state of hockey"

b) Embrace old time hockey, unless UND plays real up north old time hockey and then they cry and whine about it.

c) Only 2 WHCA teams cracked the writer's top twenty. Anyone else notice "writer's" polls are extremely short sited and based primarily on last year's showing? WCHA was weak last year, but I would be surprised in the Goophs aren't in the final four this year. You read here first people!

Yeah maybe if one could leave North Dakota and arrive in CA in the 1950's that would be nice.:D
That was way before most of the jobs left CA and housing became too expensive.:(

Good idea. If the REA was its own soverign nation the logo's would stay for sure.:p

I am never fashionably late, so that slam has never really bothered me.
