I said religion serves as fuel. Islam, Christianity... all religions that are functionally identical in saying "posit X which transcends all else." Religion is probably too restrictive a term -- maybe "worship" is the better concept, where worship takes a man out of his human context and puts him in an abstract context where an idea has that transcendent place.

tl; dr: anything that causes you to lose perspective has the potential to serve as a fuel. The fire, however, is something else -- something personal and invasive, like anger, revenge, resentment or fear. Or love -- it doesn't have to be tragic. Hence "the fire of divine love" that all mystics have tied into. That which causes one to "seethe."

Correct. All liquids greater than 3oz must be purchased after the security checkpoints within the airport terminals. Where your $1.50 20oz Coke now sells for $4.

Money is obviously critical to ISIS's success. I'm sure western powers are fighting an economic "war" against them, including some covert methods. Have we heard much about what we and other countries are doing to stop their oil revenue at the pump and in the market and otherwise shut down their commerce? Which nation-states are helping them fund their terror?
 
I've heard hackers are disrupting their social media accounts, the group anonymous has vowed to shut them down.
