All for it. USA has little to lose by pursuing this. Either the Iranians cooperate, or we're no worse off as sanctions snap back into place (they're suspended, not lifted). If someone like Israel or the Saudis have a different view, they can solve that problem themselves using their own military. With the US now getting the vast majority of its oil from North America, our interests in the Middle East are getting smaller and I'm sick of having us referee idiotic disputes.

Likud made a serious blunder aligning publicly with the GOP. Used to be AIPAC could play carrot/stick with both parties. With them going balls deep into the orcs, the Dems are free to start making foreign policy decisions with US interests in mind.

Watching the look on Snowden's face (on Last Week Tonight) as he watches people not only not remember who he is/what he did, but see how outraged they are over the possibilities of the NSA having "Dick Pics" is amazing. Being forced to see that the sacrifice you made was for the dumbest, most ill informed citizens ever has got to be like cold water to the face.

The good news is that the NSA doesn't have anything on my in its Project Dick Pics.

Would it really surprise you if they snuck into your room at night and snapped a few photos so they would?

Why would they go to that much trouble? They could just use a laptop, cell phone, or tablet.

Hey, with the Dems increasingly aligning themselves with the Palestinians, Israel's gradual shift toward the GOP has been in the cards for a good while now. Obama's hostility is just emblematic of what's happening in a substantive chunk of the Dems.

Do you keep the camera lens of each device pointed at you while you're sleeping or in the buff? My iPhone is generally in a coat pocket once I get home. My iPad is closed under a cover when I'm not using it, and I close my laptop when it's not in use. And my desktop PC doesn't have a camera. Has the gov't now bugged other devices in my home with cameras, Lyndon LaRouche??

File this under the category of beliefs that come from an utterly different ways of seeing the world. Obama and the Dems aren't aligning with the Pals, but they recognize what the entire rest of the western world recognizes -- some of Israel's actions have undercut the peace process, and the worst of these have been aggressively pursued by Likud.

In the same way that the US is not the GOP, Israel is not Likud, tinpot rhetoric of "real America" or "real Israel" in each case notwithstanding.
