4 dead, including the attacker, a police officer, and 2 civilians. 20 more injured, some apparently severely. Terrible stuff. :(

Either Assad or Putin sarin gassed a Syrian village. Children were most affected because the gas pools near the ground.

At least 58 people have been killed and dozens wounded in a suspected chemical attack on a rebel-held town in north-western Syria, a monitoring group says.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that strikes on Khan Sheikhoun by Syrian government or Russian jets had caused many people to choke.

Later, aircraft fired rockets at local clinics treating survivors, medics and activists said.

Well one school of thought is to wipe out all resistance to the last person. The other is to get the other side to quit. There is a middle ground where you wipe enough of the opposition out that the survivors get the idea and sue for peace.
