Is anyone planning on going to Mankato next weekend? Anyone interested in a hotel room?
I would like to go, and spend one night there, maybe 2 if enough people are going to be there. I will probably drive down for at least one game even if no one else is going.

we should get a list of people that are going to be there and see if there is enough interest for a hotel room, I don't want to spend alot of money...so more people would be better.

I was kidding, I don't think I can handle another Tech trip for a couple more months.
Though, I would have a way there and back.

Also, I love MN Buffalo Wild Wings.... I was watching the Wild, UM/UMD, SCSU/UW, Philly/SJ and the NHL network (which was cycling through livelook-ins at all the NHL games). That plus beer and food on my parents tab = awesome.
I'm not sure what I'm doing with Mankato. I'm leaning towards going just Saturday. I'd be game for splitting a hotel if its cheap though. That way I can go to the bars without worrying about how to get back to Rochester.

I might go friday too, and just drive home after the game, or if my sister comes with, we would crash at her friend's place

I will always recommend investing in a decent inflatable air mattress for when you're cramming people into a hotel room. You can probably get a decent one for like 30 bucks, and when you split a hotel room up 5 or 6 ways instead of 4, the savings will pay for the mattress itself.

Yeah, but the Air Mattress just makes it easier to sneak more people into a room. And on a sports roadtrip, at most, you would really only need to have 3 different room keys, because most of the time, you're going to be coming and going from the room in groups. Why pay for the fourth room key when you know you're all going to come stumbling back from the bar at the same time??
Ummm..... Unless you're planning on watching Playoff Football Brent, UMD isn't playing anybody next week.

I didn't know tUMD played Bye.
And usually it's 2 keys, but I guess it depends on the hotel. Trust me, for many softball tourneys, we crammed the team in 2 rooms constantly.

So for Mankato it sounds like a one night trip on Saturday night could work out fine...so far we have me, crazypotatoes, siouxtechie, MEg(biddco) and Yager as might possibly be going.

But the Beavers rolled, so that is a good thing. BSU is probably the best team out west.
