These are the same people who think TERF (trans exclusionary radical feminist) is a slur, when it's an accurate description. These are the same people who don't want to be defined by their body parts, and still define women by their body parts.

I would recommend LGBTQ, Muslims, and atheists have a bolt hole. The GOP has told us who they are. Too may Jews who had a chance to leave Germany stayed because they just could not accept reality.

They like white tourists whose money they are happy to take, but not so much outsiders who move there permanently. My fiance has a high school friend who moved there years ago. She now lives in Toulouse, married a French man, speaks fluent French, even became a French citizen, and yet some parts of her husband's social circle still whisper about her and make fun of her supposed American accent, including her own mother-in-law. C'est la vie.

Unfortunately we have people who try to make the US like that. We're not. We're the opposite of that.

Also always remember the difference between the esoteric and the exoteric. 90% of the species isn't worth bothering about, so what they "think" if you is like worrying about what a squirrel thinks of you.
