Honest take on gender by declaration? It's not an issue.
I presume you would include trans men within you definition of biological women, so "this sort of thing" clearly benefits biological women.

Trans people have existed for millennia. We are not new. Nazi Germany burned a fair amount of research and literature on us, which is something modern Republicans want to do now.
And our existence really wasn't an issue until Western Christian colonizers showed up here and made it an issue. Puritans often put LGBT and others they deemed sexual deviants to death, often through gruesome means.

I'll bet lots of religions have either demonized or deified trans people. Christianity sucks, but it doesn't uniquely suck. In the end, it's gods that suck. "When you believe in things you can't understand then you suffer."

Of course gender is a social and legal issue, all day, every day, world-wide.
Look at your drivers' license, your birth certificate, your passport, the sign on the shower you're allowed to use at the gym... My God.
Furthermore, when you reference "trans men", how does their presence benefit *other* biological women? (BW, for short. My intellectual property.)
I'll try to keep it simple, and parsed to just one facet of the debate: Is it fair to allow boys to play girls' sports in HS? (Keeping it simple here.)
I'll make some popcorn and let the intellectual giants such as Kepler explain that to us all. Can't wait.

Not that I'm a cisphobe, after all, my mom was cis....
But the myth that trans women can't do X or participate in Y because predatory and opportunistic cis men might take advantage is perpetuated by predatory and opportunistic cis men. Cis men like Fishy.

Quit deflecting, a-la the Trumpies, and address the point: Would you consider it equitable if biological males are allowed to play women's sports?
Very simple question. Just answer that one, without smearing the entire heterosexual community, or me in particular.

MT, I'm likely Left of you. I'm an unabashed Socialist! This isn't a political issue, it's a practical one.
Many gender-identity "issues" are non-issues. I agree with you there.
But one actual issue is biological boys invading girls' sports, whether it be at the middle school level or if it translates into a handful of NBA washouts dominating the WNBA.
I simply would like to hear your opinion on that one, before we move on to more significant conversations.

I suppose that it doesn't matter who wins what game. I get it.
But to imply that a free-for-all, gender-wise, constitutes a level playing field is obviously ridiculous.
Back in The Dark Ages, I was an all-star in small-time HS hoops. At 6'4", I would have been All-Universe had I been allowed to play on the girls' team. Every single play would have gone through me, and I would have averaged 35 PPG and 20 boards. (Unless the other "girl's" team had a fake girl who was 6'7".)
Is that what you want to see?
I have young women in my family. They play sports. Some of them are good at it, and all are passionate about it. It's complete bullshit to allow young men to oppose them on the field. A no-fucking-brainer.
