Trans activists injected themselves with cross-sex hormones on camera outside NYU Langone hospital — days after the hospital agreed to stop providing sex-change treatments to minors and pay $8.5 million to settle with Trump's DOJ.
The group, many wearing masks, filled syringes and shot up in front of a crowd of supporters while one person read from a script through a bullhorn, calling NYU's decision "cowardice" and vowing to "celebrate our trans bodies.
"The DOJ settlement bars NYU and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center from administering puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, or performing surgical procedures on children. AG Todd Blanche said hospitals that "target children in these practices and then fraudulently obtain payment" will be held to account.
