That was several years ago, before Delta decided that selling access to their clubs to anyone with a decent credit score was more important than trying to maintain a reasonably pleasant, child-free atmosphere. There's a reason people call them Sky Pubs now.

Almost makes me long for the days when club catering outside of JFK and ATL usually consisted of crackers, cheese, snack mix, Biscoff, and a dirty salad bar.

yeah, the soup now is so good, but it's not worth it.

I was in AMS lounge a few months ago and really thought the KLM staff would crack down, but no. The Lounge Lizards of the olden days are gone.

Must be worse in the U.S. The lounges in SE Asia are generally very noise free. Although now that I think about it, MSP and LAX last year were also fairly serene. I probably just got lucky.
