Re: Gear Grinding Part 5: The Story of the Broken Tooth

If you are paying full retail for pop, you are paying a "sucker" price... Usually name brand 12-packs are on sale 4 for $11-12... Holidays bring out the 4 for $10 sales... Something is always on sale...

I rarely buy pop, though. If I do, it's usually when it's on sale anyway (I only buy individual bottles, though).

Re: Gear Grinding Part 5: The Story of the Broken Tooth

The only time I drink a pop is when I'm at a restaurant.

Grown adults who use AOL/text speak annoy the crap out of me. I'm not talking about the occasional "lol," but full blown sentences written that way.

Do you mean saying them out loud? Or using shortened words and abbreviations in work communications? Or both?

Ask him to verify his computer's spellchecker because you're seeing problems with what was received on your end - unintelligible.

Last night, a very pleasant evening at sunset. Go outside to sit on the porch to relax and sip a refreshing beverage. After just a few sips, someone fires up a gasoline-powered leaf blower. Lots of noise and stinky too. Tolerable during daylight, but not this late in the evening please!

The only time you'll see it from me is when I'm trying to be annoying or "anticlever" :-/ I also frequently use "lulz" in place of "lol" to convey sarcasm.

I am known to use proper punctuation in my texts.

Have to get yard work done when possible. If you work during the day, the evening is the only chance. I am in that situation, so I have no sympathy that your drink time was mildly interrupted.

Maybe in the podunk town you live in that's acceptable, but where FF lives you tell the gardener to keep it to daylight hours only!!!

People who wire dining room light switches to a GFCI outlet in the neighboring bathroom.

No, really, someone did that.
