That's because twitter sucks and only sad people use it.

Do I have to sit on the toilet? more important- am I required to invent words?
Twooping is excellent. And didn't "twatwaffle" get invented on this board?![]()

I've seen twatwaffle used elsewhere. It's certainly found a home here, though.
Also, the use of "snowflake" to describe liberals.
The last I checked, liberals aren't whining over a TV show getting the ax.

I already submitted it to LSSU's Banned Words list for this year, though I didn't specifically call out its use against libs, who have increasingly been turning it against cons when they whine about courts or Congress blocking Trump's agenda (and yeah, I'm guilty). What started out as a lame epithet towards Millennials has become a catch-all for anyone who objects to your narrow line of thinking.
I know "snowflake" has been narrowed down to liberals, and that stinks. I use snowflake as an all-encompassing term.
Thanks, Obama.![]()
Social media. How do some of these people maintain such a high level of reactivity and outrage, have such short and selective memories regarding stupid behavior on the political spectrum. If people are really as stupid as they come across in some of the stuff I am seeing today I wonder how they come in out of the cold. Both sides of the spectrum included. Wow.

I left fakebook 4 months ago, and I couldn't be happier. The hatred levels are all by design. Let them be ****ed off. And if you're that worried about staying in contact with people, the telephone is not antiquated by any means.
I'm still on FB, but less active overall in general. I belong to two beer groups (discuss the industry/trade beers/etc). That is where most of my activity is now. I've learned to scan past anything political/drama/etc for the most part. Same with the Tweeter machine.
I'm still there, mostly to post memes to make people laugh for a second, or to rant about little thing about day-to-day life. My FB wall is 99% politics-free, and it's going to stay that way. I don't give ****s about your politics, and I'm not going to beat you over the head with mine.
I've said this before: When my dad worked in the factory, he told me that there were two things that were NOT discussed publicly in the shop: politics and religion. I adhere to that to this day.
Obviously, I am getting into the pols thread here on the board, and may interject a comment or two in general on FB, but your last comment is mo' def true. I do NOT discuss those things at work. Never.
The item you posted on FB, the one that I later shared, is just about the upper limit on what I'll do politics-wise on FB.
I am confused by the label. To me the definition of someone who is a snowflake should be they melt away with any opposition. Instead it is being used in reference to people who are standing up for what they believe- I truly don't get how it makes them a snowflake. (This has bugged me for some time). I esp don't get it because some of the people who use it are the ones who have spent yrs whining about things not being the way they want with no logical explanation for why it should be done that way.I already submitted it to LSSU's Banned Words list for this year, though I didn't specifically call out its use against libs, who have increasingly been turning it against cons when they whine about courts or Congress blocking Trump's agenda (and yeah, I'm guilty). YepDo some reading on the "mouse utopia" experiments from the 1950s, and that kind of behavior will make a lot more sense.![]()
Unfortunately phones are not what the younger generation in my family use and they live fairly far away.I left fakebook 4 months ago, and I couldn't be happier. The hatred levels are all by design.
