Games of 11/8 - WIACing the MIAC. Where Eagles Dare and other games. SCORES!!!

Re: Games of 11/8 - WIACing the MIAC. Where Eagles Dare and other games. SCORES!!!

What the heck is Collins doing playing at this level ???
I watched the first 2 periods and he has skills for sure,he played something like 120 games in the USHL and did pretty well,he is very slippery with the puck,a few times the dmen got caught watching the puck and not knocking him on his butt,I think they will catch up with this and realize they have to take the body for sure and disregaured the puck.He can skate for sure and is a BIG addition to genny who looked pretty good, the shorty and the post they hit didnt help,a nice game to watch both teams look very good.

Creech is pretty good from what I've seen. Bob hasn't had a two-goalie system in a long time now though. My guess would be he might get a period here and there. It's smart to ride Cadieux all the way....he's either the best or at least in the conversation. Cadieux is very poised and cool under pressure. He never looks like he's panicking. Good puck handler as well. He's a guy you can win everything with. Creech will get his turn as I don't view him as a career backup.

Goaltenders are a unique bunch. Some are OK with being the apprentice for a year or even two.....some want the starts right away. Creech has a good future with the Cards. For what its worth.....I would start with Creech tonight but that's probably not the reality.

agree, cadieux seems to play that relaxed less is more type style, hare was the same, and I noticed last night in the Minn. vs ND game the goalies use that style as well........yes start Creech tonight and see how it goes, Platty can score so I wouldnt worry as far as that goes.

That Dman Solomon can move too. He and Stanimir are Sacred Heart retreads. Those two along with Collins, Brickler and the always good Zachary Vit will demand some attention from the conference. Again, real good looking team for Genny. The folks I talked to thought they were excellent as well and will be in the hunt all year. SUNYAC will be a 3 horse race.

Not really surprised. UWSP beat FU 6-1 at home. SNC beat FU 4-1 on the road. Nothing shocking about those scores.

Serious question, after what UWSP did to FU last weekend, is anyone else shocked that SNC didn't put a few more tallies up on the board tonight? I was expecting the "no class" flag to be thrown out. Regardless, looks like Jacobson has someone pushing him this year, a big congrats to Kujava (s/p) on his first Collegiate W.
