I think that is pretty harsh. Besides, it took 8 years to recognize that Potsdam wasn't a fit.

It is clear Primelink wants 4 elite teams. Midd is no longer considered elite, and I don't believe it will take 8 years for that realization to manifest itself. Why not 2 invitees?

Norwich 1
Norwich scored on a 5-on-3, which was one of their 5 power plays in the first.
Positives for both teams. If you're Concordia you're happy to be down 1 after playing half the period a man down. On the other side, Norwich's powerplay is looking good. Crisp passes, cycling well, being patient. Night and day compared to last night.

Perhaps. There were some checks from behind/boarding hits that didn't get called on both sides. I can't speak for the hooks as it's hard to see on the computer. But the hold and interference penalties were blatant.

Absolutely fantastic penalty kill by the Cadets to end the period. Strong forecheck led too a Cobber trip to make it 4-on-4.

Norwich now up 3-0. Concordia gives up a couple of bad 2 on 1s and lots of penalties called on both sides.
The question is whether or not Norwich can hold a lead in the third. That's been their issue this year.

Middlebury has a lot of tradition and hasn't been down for that long. I just don't see them being excluded quickly.
