I'm confused by the UWEC scoreboard showing what looked like a major penalty on UWEC (I just clicked in for the last 4 minutes of video or so and saw the scoreboard with a penalty on the home team expiring with 2 secs left in the game, but I didn't see anything like that on the live stats. Confusing with no audio. Did for some reason they show a misconduct on the penalty clock (which would be really weird)?

All I had was the live stats from Adrian, and all they had was a game misconduct, no major, as well. I guess we'll have to wait for the official box score. This one should be more accurate than the one I talked about last weekend from Concordia-WI.

EDIT: That might also explain how Adrian wound up 2-3 on the power play.

Okay, when I dive into the play-by-play, Preston Hodge drew a 5 for CFB at 14:58 of the 3rd to go along with the game misconduct. That's what we both missed.

I swear that was not in the live stats at the time I checked. (But the internet ate my National Challenge picks and I had Adrian in this one, which is why I checked in) (Never trust the internet) It looked like Adrian got two PPGs at the end.

It was an entertaining game bet Adrian and Eau Claire..
1 -- Having seen EC earlier in the week vs SNC, I was mainly looking to see what type of squad Adrian put onto the ice.
2 -- Adrian came out fast and put a lot of pressure on the EC defense. Seemed to beat the Blugolds to every loose puck in the first 30 minutes.
3 -- Halfway thru the game, EC started to play better, but found themselves down 3 -- 2 going into the third period.
4 -- They lost any chance of closing the gap when they took a foolish five minute major, with a little over five minutes left in the game.
And, to make matters worse, they took a two min boarding penalty seconds later. The Bulldogs responded with two pp goals to get to the 5 -- 2 final.
4 -- I was impressed with Adrian...strong group of forwards. The freshmen line of Thompson, McCloy and Brothers really stood out...accounting for three of the five goals and seven total points.
5 -- The Adrian D did not allow EC too many scoring chances and when they did, Shackell stopped 27 of the 29 shots EC put on net. Shackell appears to have emerged as the No. 1 goalie, as he boosted his season record to 5 -- 0.
6 -- I plan to take in the Adrian @ Stevens Point game tonite with Brother Jim.. Should be fun to see it in person..

I missed it, too. I had to dig through Adrian's site on the play-by-play to find it.
