Games of 11/12 - Going Dutch in Utica? An eerie weekend for Platty?

Re: Games of 11/12 - Going Dutch in Utica? An eerie weekend for Platty?

After 2
Aurora 1
SNC 1

SOG 35/8

Aurora scored on a bouncing puck in the slot that no one could seem to get a stick on forever until they put it in

SNC has 4 posts.

Around the NCHA today:

SNC 4-3 over Aurora (as previously noted)
Adrian 6-3 over Marian (as previously mentioned)
CUW over Finlandia 4-3
St Scholastica over Lake Forest 5-3
Northland over MSOE 3-2

Only the last one really got my attention.

Salem spots Plymouth a 5-0 lead in the first, but rallies to tie it at 5 before losing in OT 6-5.
JWU spots Endicott a 4-1 3rd period lead, gets it to 4-3 before an ENG seals it for the visitors.

Brockport was 7-9 on the Powerplay last night vs M'ville:eek:

Skidmarks beat Mass-Boston 4-2. What the what?!??

r

Skidmore was a dangerous team last year with the best line in the league with Bird and Cibelli.

They were picked fourth in this year's preseason coaches poll with good reason. They can beat anyone in the league. Beat Norwich last year at home 4-0. Actually, only team NU didn't beat last year as they tied in Saratoga.

Zero surprise to me. Skidmore is going to be a tough out for anyone this year. Luckily, Norwich took care of business in its four "easier" league games. Now they've got a tough stretch of six here at Castleton and Skidmore, at PrimeLink for two and then home vs. UMB and Babson.
