Freshman are finally really playing like freshman when it comes to composure and not letting hits and chirping get to them. It's what Buff does well (chirping including the coach) and they need to zone that out. I think this awful showing so far has a lot to do with letting Buffalo get inside their heads and pressing too hard on that PP. Something to chew on 2 5:00 PP's in the last two days and did not cash in on those.

This is typical of a young team. Norwich has had very similar issues in the games that they have lost. It is not a surprise to me. Young teams are often really good when they get an early lead and can play their game, but if another team takes them off their game and takes an early lead, it can get rough. You need the guy who can pick the team up and carry them ahead.

Bowdoin scored 2 goals 6 seconds apart to seal the win. That breaks a school record set in 1988 by John Mcgeough, who scored both goals in a 7 second span against Norwich. But he didn't do it shorthanded like Quinn and Downey did!

A couple scrums that turned into some dumb penalties. And it's going to cost a couple guys a game.

Yup. Adrian got very undisciplined in the 3rd period. The coaching staff is, uh, less than pleased. I'm operating under the assumption that those ejections are treated as DQs and not misconducts.

I may comment more later, when I'm not typing on a phone.

Even though an exhibition I believe they will still have to sit out the next game.

Game Ejection is not an NCAA penalty. It's either a game misconduct (take the night off) or a Disqualification which suspends you for the next game + taking the rest of the night off.

3 game misconducts in a season give you a game off.

Good thing they don't play for Emery. They wouldn't be playing no matter who their next opponent is.... let's see what they do...says a lot about a coach

Looking up the stats, strictly on paper it would appear the two that got ejected are more role players than anything.

A combined eight points I believe and neither have played even close to every game this year.
