Game of Thrones Season 8: Now What Will We Do for Boobies?

Re: Game of Thrones Season 8: Now What Will We Do for Boobies?

...or, the ultimate fan-betrayal... Bran wakes-up from his coma after being pushed-out the window, and it was all a dream. This would likely result in riots in the streets (or at least at Comicon).

Who can I pay to see that this happens?

Re: Game of Thrones Season 8: Now What Will We Do for Boobies?

I shudder to think what the Internet would have done with the St Elsewhere ending. Or how modern social media would have reacted to Seinfeld or The Sopranos.

Re: Game of Thrones Season 8: Now What Will We Do for Boobies?

I didn't watch the Sopranos ending until many years later and by then it was already kinda spoiled. I didn't hate it but watching it in real time might've been weird.

There definitely was a meltdown after The Sopranos.

I thought The Sopranos ending was brilliant.

One day, you become privy to viewing the ongoing activities of this certain family, their relationships, "careers", etc. And then one day, just as abruptly, you're not.

It's like your time ran out at the peep show.

100% agree. As much as I didn’t care for Seinfeld, that ending was brilliant as well. It just fit.

Right, it also leaves off on a tense note of what Tony's life is like going forward, a sense of paranoia and looking over your shoulder that never really ends (until it does).

Going into this last episode of GoTH I don't have overly high expectations but it'll be interesting to see what happens.

Everyone will calm down when, right before the credits, Jon meets up with Tormund and ghost and gives ghost a nice pat on the head

I was right on who kills dany! Now let’s see if my ghost prediction comes true

Whose a good boy

I think the latest surmise out there is pretty much everyone except Dany who is still alive will survive. Even Tyrion.

Bronn takes over at High Garden. Stansa stays at Winterfell. Yara in the Iron Islands. Gendry for House Borathian. Brienne becomes the head of the King's Guard. Sam Tarley takes over as Grand Maester. Aria just disappears to kill people. Jon Snow goes north to reunite with Tormund and Ghost. Tyrion becomes hand of the King. Brandon Stark becomes King by election or popular acclaim.

It kind of makes sense (why put Gendry and Bronn into the positions they were awarded in earlier episodes). Not really sure where the dragon fits into this, or what will happen to the unsullied and Dothraki, but I could see it playing out that way for the major characters.

And he pretty much nailed it. Impressive.

Re: Game of Thrones Season 8: Now What Will We Do for Boobies?

This could've ended better. But the combination of moving beyond the original subject material and having to rush it messed with things. I am still good with the ending though. After the events of the last episode this was just about as good as it was going to get.

And obviously, Ghost is a super good boy.

After waiting 20+ years for an ending, I'm fine with it. Could've been worse.

So if Tyrion walked up to the rubble pile...does that mean Jaime and Cersei would have not been buried ten feet to their left?
