Harvard ranged from 4th to not ranked. Crazy.

Also not much change this week, for the first time all year.

I don't understand anyone putting CHA teams in top 10 at this point.

Other than Mercyhurst beating your #8 ranked team 3-0 and tying your #7 1-1; both games on the road for MU. MU has been inconsistent at times, but no more than any other team not ranked 1-4.

Has anyone seen this yet?
Nicely done logo! I heard that there were only about 120 tickets remaining for the FF, but that was late last week so I assume by now it's officially a sell-out?

I bought a couple. Got a couple more as a gift. May have a spare or two when the time comes.

All these rankings make me understand why dear old U should schedule Lindenwood for every non-conference game. Cornell's SOS is 3 BSU 6, OSU 8, BU 13, BC 16, Mercyhurst 37.

That low SOS is a reason why MU is not a good team to play for a non-conference series, because the "Opponents' Opponents' Winning Percentage" takes a hit for games versus the Lakers.

I'm waiting to see if BC makes it. I assume BC will have an allotment if they do.
Have a little faith. With an attitude like that, you don't deserve a championship. The Eagles deserve not only more fans, but more dedicated ones. :(

Re: Fun With Numbers '14-'15: USCHO Posters Poll, Pairwise What-Ifs, and Other Goodie

Better hope your flight is on time. If BC is No. 1 seed, they'll play the early game on Friday.
Oh I know it, but it would only take me a half hour to take an Uber to Ridder from MSP. I should be alright, it arrives at 1:45. That gives us some leeway.

You're right about them beating the #8. Mercyhurst is the cream of the CHA crop and watching them lose two to the Nittany Lions got me a little crazy. :) Let's hope they do better vs Syracuse then a split (like last time). A real test for them against another inconsistent team - St Lawrence - in two weeks.

That assumes the Uber driver isn't a deviant who''ll dump you on the banks of the Mississippi in your underwear.

The NCHC Frozen Faceoff is that weekend too, with the first game at 4, so the transport from the airport may be difficult.

Shouldn't be an issue. Just take the light rail to downtown and transfer there to the line that runs to St. Paul via the "U". That works well even if there is a snowstorm screwing up traffic.

That's the plan unless we're running late, then we'll grab a cab or something if we have to. Last time I was in Minneapolis (2008? I think) there was only one light rail line. Minneapolis is a grown-up city now! :p

Well yes... Except for that whole Minnesota's a state deal.
