Frozen Four ticket location

Re: Frozen Four ticket location

Highest Priority (we've been going to the Frozen Four since before it was called the Frozen Four): Section 103 / Row 24. VERY happy with our seats.:)

Re: Frozen Four ticket location

Congrats, labs33!

My ducats have arrived; sorry to say I'm mildly disappointed. Level 13 (of 14); Section 108, Row 16.

The seats are in the corner, behind an end line. We'll have a nice view from a Lower Bowl location. No one should feel sorry for us. But the seats are several sections worse than the great location I had in 2002. I'll also admit to being spoiled by the sensational seats I had in DC.

Yeah, as Ralph suggests, there are some interesting conversations on the Women's Board right now. He probably saw my posts on the "Impact of Penn State" thread. Personally I'm happy that OSU belongs to the Women's WCHA. As far as I know, the Women's WCHA is satisfied with us. But some from outside the league want to uproot us. Replies were necessary...

Back to Frozen Four tickets; more soon...

Re: Frozen Four ticket location

One level down from top priority level, Section C24, row 2, four seats.

Can anyone who knows the X tell of what amenities may be available at club level seating there ?

Re: Frozen Four ticket location

Priority 9
Wanted to see a Black Bears- Gophers rematch this year...didn't think they'd both be outside looking in...
...for the moment, that is... Stranger things have happened. Both are playing very well right now.

Priority: Highest (I think they started counting in 1997 or so - been going since 1995)
Section 107
Row 16
Seats 9-12
Lower bowl, but in the corner. I'll sit anywhere in that arena, though. Still ranks as the best (large) hockey arena I've ever wathched a game in.

Club level is very nice. Short lines in the men's room. Pretty good food choices. Too bad the bars will be closed for NCAA rules. There is a Headwaters Cafe which has nice buffet dinners (and I think menu dinners as well) but you should make reservations for it.

Re: Frozen Four ticket location

Have 3 groups of 4 tickets going.

Highest minus 1 - got Club Level 24 Row 3
Priorioty 1 - got Club Level 37 Row 1
Priority 0- got 223 Row 7

Very surprised that we were able to get such good tickets with the Priority 1. And prefer to be the club level for the higher priority tickets we got instead of the corner of the first level.

Re: Frozen Four ticket location

First time applying (Priority 0?)

Section 212
Row 1
Correct. As a first time applicant, you went into the lottery with zero points. If you apply for next year's tournament in Tampa, you'll have 1 point -- the one you earned by getting tickets through the 2011 lottery.

Re: Frozen Four ticket location

I believe I am priority 12 (was a 2 for the first lottery) out of a possible 15.

Section 113
Row 26

High up in the corners is good, but surprised that others with lower priority seem to have scored some prime seats.

Re: Frozen Four ticket location

Woohoo! Thanks to a friend, I got a ticket, and it's a GOOD one! 111, R6. :D

Re: Frozen Four ticket location

Got ours today sec. 122 row 12. 4 seats. Very pumped!!!! SIOUX YA YA !!!

From your description, you're highly likely to be a Priority 11 (of 14). As a Level 2 applicant at the time of the 2002 Lottery, you are correct that you are 3 points below the maximum. However 14 is the maximum for St. Paul 2011. You'll be a 12 (of 15) for the Tampa Lottery.

Everyone: Please post your Priority Level along with your seat location. That will give us a much better idea of how the lottery played out. If you aren't 100% sure of your level, just post what you do know and we'll make our best guess. Notice what BobF did in his post. He gave enough info so that the slight error could be corrected with confidence. Well done.
